Amblr needs Motion & Fitness permission: open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness and make sure Amblr is enabled. Step counting uses your iPhone's motion chip, so the phone needs to be with you while you walk.
Go to the Profile tab and tap Sync Apple Health. Amblr reads your step history from Apple Health (read-only) so your full history appears in Insights. Setting up a new iPhone? Run the same sync there and your history comes right back — Apple Health carries it between devices.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Use Profile → Manage subscription in the app, or iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new device, open the paywall and tap Restore.
They're estimates based on your steps and the height, weight, and age in your Profile — keeping those up to date makes the estimates more accurate.
Amblr has no accounts and collects no personal information. Read the full privacy policy.
